Summer.......Gross!!

Anyone that knows me knows I hate summer. I am a warm person by nature and don't like to be hot. After a week of high 90's and 100's it was 70 degrees yesterday. Felt so good I mowed the yard!! But today was warmer and tomorrow will be warmer still. Is it October yet?

I love the smell of school supplies!!!! Can't say the boys agree with me. They started putting school supplies out 2 weeks ago. Only 26 days until Zach starts Kindergarten. Matt and Alex start August 17th.

More later.

Spring Revisited

Spring is a rather short season. It's been in the 80-90's for the past 3 days not too mention the wind never stops blowing. However, tornado season is upon us and I'm hoping to catch one on film.

Alex is at church camp this weekend and they had severe thunderstorms and had to relocate due to power and water being out. Bet he'll have a good story when he gets home.

Matt is loving Jr Golf as usual. Is he the next Tiger? Can only hope!! Maybe he'll take care of his mom when he starts making the big bucks.

Zach just finished his first week of Kid's College. He is taking a computer class. He seems to be liking it alot. One more week of computer class then he starts a snack class.

Ta-Ta for now.

What season is this?

Well, just as I was saying how nice Spring was, Winter came back. Snowed all morning on April 29!! Didn't pile up but snowed all the same. Now only a week later temps are in the 80's and the air conditioner is on. People that know me know that I hate any temperature over 70. Actually 55-60 would be perfect for me.

The boys are out of school the 19th. Only nine days left they tell me. Now Matthew is busy planning his summer and Alex is the opposite, he isn't making any plans. Zach won't be happy about it as he really loves his Pre-K teacher Mrs. Murray. When does my summer break get here!!

Spring

Isn't Spring great! The tulips and daffodils are in full bloom. I hate summer but love spring. Of course the boys are just thinking about getting out of school next month. Can't blame them, as we were all the same way. Don't know what they think their plans are for the summer. Anyone know of any boarding schools?

Alex passed his test and received his learner's permit Tuesday. He's only been behind the wheel once and Jeff was with him. Other than spinning the tires on the van he did ok for his first time. He's got it lucky, I learned on a stick shift.

Ta Ta for now.

Books & Blogs

From one book to another, I have now started "Sickened" by Julie Gregory. Not too far into it yet but looks like another good one. Written by a victum of Munchausen by proxy, she lived to tell her tale.

Blog, what kind of word is that? Have spent some time looking at others blog's. Some are quite fascinating, others, quite perplexing. Political, personal, religious, seems we all have something to say about anything. I guess I'm not that deep of a person to use it for political or religious reasons. Keep on blogging!!!

A Great Read

Just finished the book "about my sisters" by Debra Ginsberg. Super good book. Made me wish my sister and I lived closer together. If you get a chance to read this book, do.
